CORONAVIRUS ANTI-BACTERIAL DEEP CLEANING

Town & Country Cleaning is committed to giving back to the community. One example of this is during the Easter break it completed an extensive clean of the swimming pool facilities of a local school, Grayshott CE Primary School.

The school PTA has been working closely with the school to help resolve various problems, which led to the swimming pool being closed earlier this year. After raising a substantial £6,000 to pay for renovations, which included new pumps, pipe work and filtration systems, the pool has had a final deep clean, ready for the new term after the Easter break.

The project included deep cleaning the whole pool surrounds, floor, glass roof cover, windows and changing rooms. The roof was cleaned using a pure water Reach & Wash system with staff IPAF/PAL certified to work at heights, whilst the remainder of the clean was managed by staff living in Grayshott.

Lee Turner, Managing Director of Town & Country Cleaning said, “Town & Country Cleaning is committed to giving back to the community. Cleaning local schools and charities are the primary way we focus on our community projects. We recently cleaned the Disability Challengers brand new complex in Stoke Park, Guildford as another example”.

“Grayshott is a village that prides itself on its community engagement through local residents and its website Grayshott.com. The school deserves to have a cleaning contractor, which genuinely wants to do right for the school and put in this kind of service”.

The head teacher, Mr Paul Davies is looking forward to the re-opening of the swimming pool and is planning to hold a swimathon soon after Easter to celebrate the occasion and hopefully raise a further £1,500 for an automated chemical dosage system for the pool. You can donate to this cause by contacting the school.
