Town & Country Cleaning has won the cleaning contract for a brand new charity centre in Guildford, for Disability Challengers.

Challengers is a registered children’s charity, established in 1979, dedicated to providing exciting and challenging play and leisure opportunities for disabled children and young people. They do this through centres in Guildford and Farnham and through a range of community based projects across Surrey.

The new site is at the Burpham end of Stoke Park in Guildford. The project clean involved windows and frames, inside and out, external jet wash of the cladding and extensive cleaning throughout the property. This included all internal rooms, reception rooms, kitchens, toilets, carpets and facilities.

Lee Turner, Managing Director of Town & Country Cleaning said, “it’s great to work with Disability Challengers. For such a worthwhile cause we guaranteed value for money and a free sparkle clean in the New Year. We will clean their Farnham property completely free of charge and will hope to extend our services across both sites”.

Disability Challengers is the official charity partner for the BEST business group, based in Guildford, which attends a weekly business networking breakfast meeting every Tuesday morning at the YMCA building in Guildford. BEST facilitates several charity fundraising events for Disability Challengers throughout the year with the help of its members, who represent SME businesses and professional services companies across Surrey.

Lee Turner, Managing Director of Town & Country Cleaning said, “I know Laura Sercombe, the CEO of Disability Challengers, through BEST but we actually won the contract from our long term partners HA&DB Kitchin, the architect and construction firm based in Alton. HA&DB Kitchin were very perceptive that Town & Country Cleaning would put their heart and soul into this project”.
