Town & Country Cleaning has recently completed a end-of-tenancy clean of a large rented family home in Grayshott, Hindhead.

The project included a large family kitchen, utility, dining room, main reception room, conservatory and 4 bedrooms with a family bathroom and en-suite. The clean included a full carpet deep clean throughout the property. The external tidy included all the windows, a large double garage, front and rear gardens, sweeping and jet-washing all the patio and driveway.

Lee Turner, Managing Director of Town & Country Cleaning said, “We were already cleaning this house on a weekly basis so it was clean, but when it comes to a full exit clean of a rented property, we make sure we clean everything again and not take anything for granted”.

The property was managed by a professional lettings estate agency and the final check out was with an independent inventory clerk producing a detailed check out report. In many instances it is important to detail everything but to clearly differentiate from what can be cleaned and what is general wear and tear of the property.

“At this time, if tenants don’t invest in a professional clean they can often be confronted with a larger bill whereby the agency has called in separate contractors to resolve issues. This always leads to paying more in the end and a delay to getting any deposit back. The best way to manage leaving a rental property is to pay for a professional cleaning company but to make sure they manage any final snag lists as part of their service, giving you greater peace of mind. ”.

Town & Country Cleaning works with many estate agents on rental properties across Surrey, Hampshire and West Sussex, completing on average, two sparkle cleans a week.
